And I have to agree with the person who commented before me. I actually took a picture of the Nationwide/Coop's paint ad while walking down High Street one fine summers day. I have to correct you on a few things, though...<BR/><BR/>Columbus has actually had a number of innovative and modifying ads in the downtown and Easton areas. Three years ago, the Columbus Crew had a giant soccer ball going through a building. Two years ago OSU had an enormous Greg Oden/Jessica Davenport basketball ad downtown. Columbus Alive (an extension of the Dispatch newspaper) commissioned a 15 foot tall iPod on the side of the Dispatch building on 3rd that played music from the ear buds (and the display was interactive with the website and users). Finally, the "green paint" Nationwide campaign is actually FROM Columbus! You might still be able to catch it driving south on High St. in downtown. Orange Barrel Media is the firm responsible for many of these ads. I'm also a big fan of The Economist and that awesome lightbulb!
